By playing on HeroSMP you agree to these rules. They are the same rules you see in game with , numbered so staff can point you to one. Breaking them can mean a warning, a mute, a ban or a wipe, and the rules can change at any time.

Fair play

#	Rule
1	No hacked clients, x-ray, auto clickers or macros.
2	Don't abuse bugs or exploits. Report them to staff instead.
3	No duping. It means a ban and a wipe of everything you gained.
4	No AFK pools, macros or tricks to get around AFK detection.
5	No lag machines. Farms that lag the server may be removed.

PvP and powers

#	Rule
6	No combat logging. Logging out in a fight kills you.
7	Don't use powers, traps or TP tricks on players with PvP off.
8	No TP traps: don't lure players with into lava, water or sky traps.
9	No teaming or alts in events and tournaments, unless the event allows it.

Land and builds

#	Rule
10	Don't grief or steal from other players' claims.
11	Don't claim around someone's base to box them in or block them off.
12	No NSFW builds.

Accounts

#	Rule
13	Don't dodge a ban or mute on another account.
14	No using alts to farm votes, events, AFK rewards or crate keys for your main.
15	No NSFW usernames, skins or item names.
16	Don't pretend to be staff.

Economy and trading

#	Rule
17	No scamming. Loans are at your own risk.
18	No real money trading: no selling items, Bolts or accounts.
19	No misleading listings, and no advertising warps or shops on .
20	Don't beg for items or money.
21	Follow the Minecraft EULA and the store's terms. Buycrafting is allowed.

Chat

#	Rule
22	No spamming, flooding chat or excessive caps.
23	No racism, sexism or hate speech.
24	No offensive language, 18+ topics or sensitive subjects.
25	No harassment, abuse or blackmail.
26	No threats of any kind: DDoS, doxxing or death threats.
27	No advertising other servers or socials unless it's about HeroSMP.
28	No suspicious links.

What the server enforces automatically

Some things are handled by the server itself, so it helps to know them:

Topic	What happens
Chat	Swear words and slurs are filtered, and links to other websites are blocked.
Combat logging	Logging out while you are in combat kills you, and the server announces it.
PvP	Players can only fight when both of them have PvP turned on with .
Land	Only claimed land is protected. Wild land is not, so claim your base. See Land Claims.
AFK Zone	Only one account per IP address can use the AFK Zone at a time.
Dropped items	Junk drops left on the ground, like rotten flesh, bones and string, are cleared every 30 minutes, with a countdown in your action bar. Nothing else is touched.
