Everything about talking to other players, showing off, and joining the HeroSMP community outside the game.
Chat basics
- There is a short cooldown between chat messages.
- Swear words and slurs are filtered.
- Links to other websites are blocked. Links to HeroSMP's own sites, our Discord, minecraft.net and minecraft.wiki are fine.
Private messages

You can turn private messages off in Settings.
Chat tags
Ranked players can type a tag inside any chat message to show something off. Each rank also gets the tags of the ranks below it.

Rank chat and shouts

Cosmetics
Open to pick your look, or go straight to a category:

Every rank comes with its own chat color. Extra tags, chat colors, glows and the Spider-Man Wing are in the Bolt Shop.

You can also right click stairs, slabs and carpets to sit on them. Switch that off with the Click To Sit setting. You can't sit down while you are in combat.
Discord
Join the community at discord.gg/herosmp for news, giveaways and sneak peeks. Type in game for the invite.
Link your account
- Type in game. You get a short code.
- Send that code in a direct message to the HeroSMP Linking bot on Discord within 10 minutes.
- Your accounts are linked. The first time you link, you get 100 Bolts, and your rank role on Discord stays in sync with your rank in game.
